Intended Audience
The activity’s target audience will consist of medical and hematologic oncologists, nephrologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, oncology pharmacists, clinical nurse specialists, and other clinicians who care for people with cancer.
Learning Objectives
After completing this educational activity, participants should be able to:
• Identify patients treated with high-dose methotrexate (HDMTX) who are at risk for developing acute kidney injury (AKI)
• Interpret the clinical implications of new guidelines into the treatment of AKI in patients treated with HDMTX
• Plan strategies to integrate the new guidelines into practice
